Eligibility:
10+2 with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in total for required subject combination (Physics & Chemistry compulsory + Maths/Biology/Biotechnology) and UPSEE/AIEEE qualification. (Subject to change as per AKTU)
B.Pharm (Lateral Entry in III semester): Candidates having Diploma in Pharmacy may take direct admission in third semester. The candidate must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

The Pharmacy Professionals play vital and assorted role in the treatment of the diseases of the lives. In this modern world, a continual hunt for new molecules of drugs is required to struggle against many killer ailments. The Pharmacist is the group serves for the control and prevention of those disorders. The Pharmacists are the counselors of drugs and dosage forms, who can directly participate in assistance to Physician in the community service.
The other service scopes of these professionals are Formulation, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Drug Isolation from Natural Sources and Novel Drug Discovery by Synthetic Chemical Reactions, Regulatory Affairs, Drug Detailing, Pharmacokinetic, and Pharmacodynamic appraisal of drugs, Clinical Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy and Teaching.
